Product Care & Warranty

Caring For Your Solid Gold Jewellery

To keep your gold and moissanite or lab-grown diamond jewellery looking its best, regular care is essential. Here's how to maintain its beauty for years to come.

Care Guide

Storing Your Ring

Avoid leaving your ring loose on benches or bedside tables. Store it safely in its ring box, pouch, or a quality jewellery box when not being worn.

At-Home Cleaning

We recommend gently cleaning your ring once a week to maintain its sparkle. Follow our simple cleaning guide here to keep it looking as beautiful as the day you received it.

Recommended Professional Ring Care

Fine jewellery is designed to last a lifetime when properly cared for. Fine jewellery should be professionally cleaned and inspected at least once a year. Regular checks help ensure stones remain secure and identify any signs of wear. White gold rings may also require occasional rhodium replating to restore their bright finish.

When to Remove Your Engagement Ring

While designed for everyday wear, we recommend removing your ring when:

  • Exercising – Weights and gym equipment can damage the band or setting.
  • Swimming – Chlorine and saltwater may affect the metal over time.
  • Cleaning – Harsh chemicals can dull the finish and weaken metal.
  • Gardening – Soil can build up beneath stones and settings.
  • Showering – Soap and hair products can leave a residue that reduces sparkle.

Caring for Your Gold-Plated Jewellery

Our jewellery is crafted with 5 layers of 14K or 18k gold electroplating, giving you a stunning, long-lasting shine!

To keep it sparkling, avoid exposing your pieces to harsh chemicals, perfumes, or water. After wearing, simply wipe them down with a soft cloth to keep that glow going!

Store your jewellery in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and humidity and it’ll stay looking fabulous for years to come! With just a little love and care, your gold-plated treasures will stay shining bright!

Aftercare & Warranty

At Fiorie Jewellery, every piece is thoughtfully crafted to be worn, cherished, and enjoyed for years to come. Proper care and mindful wear will help preserve the beauty and integrity of your jewellery over time.

Our Warranty

All solid gold Fiorie pieces are covered by a two-year manufacturing warranty, commencing from the date of delivery.

This warranty covers:

  • Manufacturing defects
  • Craftsmanship-related issues under normal wear

Should a covered issue arise, our team will assess the piece and, where appropriate, offer a repair, replacement, or store credit at our discretion.

What Is Not Covered

While our pieces are designed for everyday elegance, the following are not covered under our warranty:

  • General wear and tear
  • Accidental damage or impact
  • Loss, theft, or breakage caused by misuse
  • Damage resulting from improper storage or care
  • Alterations or repairs performed by a third party

Why two years?

Because true manufacturing defects reveal themselves early.

If a piece has been crafted incorrectly, issues such as loose settings or structural weakness almost always become apparent within the first 24 months.

Beyond this timeframe, changes to a piece are typically the result of normal wear, impact, or routine maintenance requirements — not manufacturing faults.

Unlike many “lifetime warranties” that rely on exclusions and fine print, our approach is clear, honest, and meaningful.

Plated Jewellery & Travel Collection Care

Our Travel Collection and plated pieces are designed for style-forward wear and occasional use and include a six month manufacturing warranty.

Please note:

  • Gold plating naturally wears over time and with regular exposure to moisture, chemicals, friction, and daily activities
  • Plating wear, fading, or discolouration is considered normal and is not covered under warranty

To extend the life of plated jewellery, we recommend removing pieces before showering, swimming, exercising, or applying lotions, perfumes, or cosmetics.

Stone Security & Prong Care

All of our gemstones are securely set by skilled artisans; however, daily wear can cause gradual loosening over time.

We recommend:

  • Avoiding impact or heavy pressure on stone-set pieces
  • Periodic professional inspections to ensure prongs remain secure

Stone loss due to impact, wear, or lack of maintenance is not covered under warranty.

Resizing & Modifications

Please note:

  • Complimentary resizing is not included unless explicitly stated at the time of purchase
  • Resizing or modifications carried out by a third party will void the warranty
  • Plated jewellery cannot be resized or modified without damaging the plated gold layers

If you require resizing or alterations, we encourage you to contact us so we can guide you through the safest options.

Caring for Your Jewellery

To preserve the brilliance of your Fiorie piece:

  • Store jewellery separately in a soft pouch or box
  • Remove jewellery during sleep, exercise, or manual activities
  • Clean gently with a soft cloth and mild soap when needed
  • Avoid exposure to harsh chemicals, chlorine, or saltwater
